Newsletter

First Edition published January 1992

At the 2006 Annual General Meeting of the Society it was decided after a great deal of deliberation that the paper version of the newsletter would be discontinued from 2007. During that year however, attendances at Society functions fell noticeably and many complaints were heard, following functions, that 'I would have been there if I had known' !

Therefore in 2008, following the example of our national newspapers, it was decided to re-introduce a paper edition to compliment the electronic version. The paper version will be thrice yearly but naturally will not be able to get news and events to you as quickly as the website version. Accordingly, you are encouraged to regularly visit the website and go straight to the notice board and correspondence pages for up to the minute announcements. Articles and editorial will appear on the current edition of the electronic newsletter which you can access by clicking the buttons below. The newsletter archive will continue for your perusal and enjoyment.
